We are seeking a full time Meat Clerk in our Butchery Department. As a member of our team, the Meat Clerk will play a key role in maintaining the quality, presentation, and cleanliness of the Butcher Shop at Littleton’s Market. We are willing to train the right candidate. This is primarily a closing position.
- Prepare the meat department for closing, ensuring all displays are properly rotated, wrapped, labeled, and stored
- Clean and sanitize all meat department equipment, tools, cases, and work areas according to food safety regulations
- Assist customers with product questions and provide exceptional customer service
- Dispose of waste properly and follow all sanitation and safety procedures
- Work closely with meat cutters and department leadership to support smooth operations
We’re looking for a skilled Line Cook who takes pride in great food, works well under pressure, and wants to be part of a strong kitchen team. If you’re dependable, organized, and enjoy a fast-paced service, we want to meet you.
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during service
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards
- Help maintain prep levels and support overall kitchen operations
- Mixes and pours alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer requests.
- Greets customers, takes orders, recommends menu items, and provides a positive and engaging experience.
- Verifies the age and identification of customers to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
- Monitors customers for signs of intoxication and refuses service to those who are intoxicated or disruptive.
- Keeps the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with ingredients and supplies.
- Handles cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Complies with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the serving of alcohol.
